Patch Notes – Ring it On! – PTS

Mystic Rings are now available for testing.

Ringcrafters reaching the Mystic Jeweler rank can craft powerful new class-specific rings, unlocking a new layer of progression. Mystic Rings also introduce new Hidden Effects, activated via the Ring Polisher, including unique effects for each class. This update also brings additional class changes for testing.

RINGCRAFTING – Mystic Rings!:

  • A new Ringcrafting tier has been added: Mystic Jeweler!
  • This unlocks at Ringcrafting skill 300, and allows Trovians to craft “Mystic Boxes” for each class!
  • “Mystic Loops” drop in Long Shade difficulty 15 worlds when reaching Prime Paragon levels

Hidden Effects:

  • Dino Tamer: Primitive Toxin – Your basic attacks apply a powerful Primitive Toxin, dealing damage over time to your target.
  • Boomeranger: Fowlmancy – Nearby enemy deaths sometimes create Chickens to fight for you.
  • Shadow Hunter: Dread Arrow – The Shadow Seekers’ ability is replaced with Dread Arrow, applying Shadow Mark, Snare, and a Damage Over Time effect to your target. Your Shadow Seekers now fire automatically instead of saving up.
  • Neon Ninja: Conduit – You and your nearby allies receive bursts of Energy during the duration of Final Technique.
  • Tomb Raiser: Para-Soul – Your Basic Attack deals extra damage, and now hits enemies and heals Skellittles in a circle around you.
  • Revenant: Explosive Defense – Bulwark Bash explodes when used. Once every 3 seconds, nearby enemy kills can reset the cooldown of Bulwark Bash.
  • Lunar Lancer: Gravity Well – Using Lunar Leap or Lunar Slam will pull in nearby enemies. This effect can only happen once every 30 seconds.
  • Gunslinger: Mine Time – replace Blast Jump with a Proximity Mine ability. Proximity Mines arm after landing, and explode after 3 seconds or when an enemy is nearby. Players get a “max stock” of 5 mines. Mines “re-stock” after 4 seconds.
  • Solarion: Divine Touch – Nearby enemy Deaths grant Divine Radiance.
  • Knight: Momentum Shift – Replaces Iron Will with Momentum Shift. When activated, it increases the Knight’s Damage, Stability, Attack Speed, and Energy Regeneration. Increases the Knight’s Health regeneration and Movement Speed while inactive.
  • Ice Sage: Frozen Tempest – Ice Crash is replaced with Frozen Tempest, increasing the Movement Speed of the Ice Sage and Damaging and slowing nearby enemies while active.
  • Dracolyte: Split-Fire – When triggering Spitfire, you also send powerful, fiery projectiles out in all directions. However, your Familiar charges up slower.
  • Candy Barbarian: Chery Bomber- Using Vanilla Swirlwind shortly after Sugar Crash causes Cherry Bomb clusters to drop on up to 5 enemies in the area.
  • Bard: Passion Play – While Bardsong is active, using Dodge can add an additional +1 Melody once every 5 seconds. This will occur whether or not Dodge is what Bardsong is asking you to perform.
  • Fae Trickster: Bliiiiink – Blink now teleports you further, but no longer creates a decoy.
  • Vanguardian: Uncanny Balance – Grants a 5-second Stability & Health Regen buff when using Fired Up or Force Flash
  • Pirate Captain: Dummy Defused – Replaces “Pirate Decoy” ability with “Defused Dummy.” Defused Dummy no longer explodes, but only requires 45 Energy to throw.
  • Chlormancer: Wild Pulse – Replaces “Green Gatling” ability with “Wild Pulse.” While active, Wild Pulse deals periodic damage to nearby enemies. “Snared” enemies hit by Wild Pulse will be stunned for a short duration.

Balance:
Knight:

  • The Knight’s Dodge is now faster and transitions more smoothly with movement

Bard:

  • Critical hits with your Basic Attack will now do a small amount of AoE damage at your location

Fae Trickster:

  • Jump height now increases a small amount at levels 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, & 30
  • Movement speed now increases a small amount at the same levels
  • Jumping now grants a short-duration Slowfall
  • Basic Attack damage increased (normal & Ego Boosted)
  • “Blink” max distance increased from 6 to 8

Vanguardian:

  • Melee: Basic Attack now hits in a larger area
  • Melee: “Force Flash” Movement Speed buff increased from +30 to +40 & +5%. It also periodically “vacuums” up nearby enemies while active.
  • Melee: “Eye Laser” has swapped places with “Plasma Blast”; Plasma Blast now does AoE damage directly around you when triggered.
  • Ranged: “Fired Up” Now grants +10 Jump and increased Jump height, allowing you to leap over small buildings in a single bound
  • Ranged: “Plasma Blast” has been replaced with “Eye Laser”; Eye Laser’s range has been increased

Pirate Captain

  • You can now only have a single “first mate” active at once
  • Damage increased, and Attack Speed for Tier I and Tier II decreased
  • Upgrades now persist for up to 3 minutes
  • Each time you throw out a First Mate, you receive a short-duration movement speed buff
  • Class Gem: “ARR-Tillery” has been converted into “Razing Tide”
  • Throwing your First Mate creates an explosion where it lands
  • Throwing your Man O’ War creates an (even larger) explosion where it lands

Chloromancer

  • “Green Gatling” and “Leafy Lasher” now “heal up” to full strength slightly faster by default, and can heal more based on Power Rank
  • “Empowered Growth” Now causes plants to grow to full strength much faster while active (& fixed a bug where the “Big” gatling was growing at the small/normal gatling rate), now lasts 20s (up from 12s) and cools down in 70s (up from 60s).

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed an issue where NPCs from Rally of Heroes would sometimes not spawn.
  • Fixed a bug with the Chloromancer subclass where it provided +50% Max Health at level 30 instead of +5%.
