New Feature: Tiny Quests
Allies can now embark on Tiny Quests for a nominal fee.
Tiny Quests are started at a “Tadpole Tours Embarkation Station”, which appears near the treasure chest that spawns after completing a Dungeon in Adventure Worlds. Once started, Tiny Quests progress whether the player is online or offline.
Starting a Tiny Quest
1. Complete a Dungeon in an Adventure World.
2. Interact with the Tadpole Tours Embarkation Station.
3. Fill required Ally slots.
4. Optionally fill any optional Ally slots.
5. Optionally add Tiny consumable items.
6. Embark on the Tiny Quest.
7. Claim rewards upon completion.
Players may have 3 Tiny Quests simultaneously by default. This cap can be increased to 6 through crafted upgrades.
Ally Slots
Tiny Quests offer two kinds of Ally slot: required and optional.
– A Tiny Quest can only be started once all of its required Ally slots are filled.
– Optional slots can be left empty, and the Quest will still embark.
– Every Ally you send contributes towards the rewards you get, whether they filled a required slot or an optional one.
– Keep in mind that each additional Ally also adds to the Quest’s ticket price, so filling every optional slot raises the cost as well as the reward.
Tiny Consumable Items
– Each Ally sent on a Tiny Quest can be equipped with one Tiny consumable item. These are found under the TINY QUESTS heading in the currency tab of your inventory.
– When a consumable’s stat or tag matches what the Tiny Quest is looking for, it increases that Ally’s contribution to the Quest — and with it, your rewards.
– Equipping a consumable also raises an Ally’s effective level when the ticket price is worked out, which can reduce or even remove a Low-Level Fee.
Fees & Level Scaling
– Under-leveled Allies will incur an additional Low-Level Fee.
– Players can avoid extra fees by selecting appropriately leveled content for their Allies. Are your Allies level 1? Then find some Tiny Quests for them in the Permafrost world of Difficulty 1!
– The Low-Level Fee climbs steeply the further below the Tiny Quest’s level your Ally is.
Progression
– Allies gain Pet XP from Tiny Quests.
– Maximum Ally Level: 30.
– Ally stats increase in even steps every 5 levels, at levels 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30.
5-Star Completion Rewards
By completing 5-Star Tiny Quests, Allies can earn a temporary stat buff — the “Blessing of the Lilypad”.
– The buff lasts one week.
– Its strength scales with the level of the Tiny Quest that granted it, so higher-difficulty 5-Star Quests grant stronger buffs.
– An Ally can only carry one Blessing at a time. Applying a new one always replaces the old, even if the new one is weaker.
Synergy System
Some Tiny Quests provide additional rewards or benefits when aligned with:
– An Ally’s Stats
– An Ally’s Home Biome
Synergies are displayed on the Tiny Quest accept UI. Clicking a synergy toggles a filter within the Collections UI.
Insta-Complete Tokens
Players may spend Insta-Complete Tokens to instantly complete any Tiny Quest.
– Insta-Complete Tokens only bypass the waiting time. You still need to meet all of the Tiny Quest’s other requirements — the Flux cost, any Low-Level Fee, and any required items — to send your Allies on their way.
– Longer Tiny Quests require more tokens. Tokens cannot be used to partially complete a Quest, so you will need enough to cover the full remaining duration.
– Insta-Complete Tokens can be purchased from the Tadpole Tours Gift Shop or earned by completing Tiny Quest Badges.
Skip for Visitor Vouchers
Players may also skip Tiny Quests, instead opting to receive a “Tadpole Tours Visitor Voucher”. Collect enough Visitor Vouchers to trade up for Tiny Quest consumables and supplies at the Tadpole Tours Kiosk & Gift Shop in the Hub.
Badges & Hub Amenities
– New Tiny Quest Badges are available in the Gameplay Badges section of Collections.
– The Tadpole Tours Gift Shop and Tiny Quest Kiosk are available in the Hub, offering items and recipes to support Tiny Quest progression.
Additional Changes
– Players who have reached Trove Mastery level 280 and above can now craft “Compressed Pinatas” at the Fun Factory. These recipes convert 5 Pinatas into a single item, letting you throw all 5 in one go. Please keep in mind that the limit of 300 Pinatas in close proximity still applies to these!
– The “Shadowy Station”, “Turkeytopia Table”, “Snowfest Table”, and “Bunfest Station” event workbenches can now be crafted on the Builder’s Crafting Bench.
– “Fiona’s Catastrophe” decoration recipes are much cheaper to craft now.
– After the summer break, Cranny has changed his mind and his business model, and now sells all 6 items from a running set for the duration of a full month. Sets change every month.
– The “Radiant Merchant” now has more items to offer!
– All varieties of “Mystic Empowered Gem” boxes and “Crystal Empowered Gem” boxes no longer contain Class Gem Keys or Class Gem Key Fragments.
