May brought plenty of adventure, teamwork, and creativity to Trove. From tracking down a familiar missing explorer to protecting Trove’s buzzing allies, Trovians stayed busy across the worlds while builders showcased their imagination in our latest community contest.
As summer arrives, even more colorful adventures are already underway. With Splendid Summer now live, new rewards, challenges, and mysteries await heroes across Trove.
Marquitillo is missing
Marquitillo’s latest disappearance sent Trovians on another community-favorite hunt this month.
Players ventured into dungeons, collected Rubber Duckats, and unlocked a variety of rewards, including new titles, a capybara ally, and a groovy bus mount. As always, the search brought plenty of adventure and a healthy dose of duck-themed chaos.
Spring Fling
Spring Fling returned to Trove this month, bringing bees, waspiders, and seasonal excitement back to the worlds.
Alongside Sir Dapper Duckington, players defended bee populations, explored event activities, and earned exclusive rewards while taking on the growing waspider threat across several biomes.
Space cornerstone contest
This month, Trovians were challenged to take their creativity beyond the stars in the Space Innovation Cornerstone Contest.
Builders put their imagination on display with futuristic and space-inspired cornerstones, showcasing the incredible creativity and talent of the Trove community.
Splendid Summer
Splendid Summer has arrived, bringing colorful rewards and a unique new challenge to Trove.
As emotions begin disappearing across the worlds, players will work alongside GMQubesly to restore balance, collect Valor Coins, and unlock exclusive event rewards. From helping fellow Trovians to confronting dangerous manifestations of emotion, plenty of adventures await throughout the event.
The colors are fading, and Trove’s heroes are needed once again.
1. Will we ever get more transparency from the development team, about what’s happening behind the scenes, and why Trove is in the current state that it is?
We understand that players would like more transparency about what’s happening behind the scenes. While there are limitations on what we can share, as some discussions, plans, and development processes aren’t ready for public disclosure, we recognize the value of keeping the community informed.
We are reviewing how we communicate with players and how we can provide better visibility into development where possible.
Our goal is to strike the right balance between transparency and ensuring that any information we share is accurate, meaningful, and ready to be communicated. We appreciate the community’s continued passion, feedback, and support, and we’ll continue looking at ways to improve communication .
2. Will tenebrous ever get removed?
First let’s answer: What is Tenebrous?
Tenebrous is a Delve modifier that serves an important role by adding Darkness to enemies, which helps regulate progression through deeper Delves.
Removing Tenebrous would allow players to push significantly deeper into Delves than they currently can, and there are a number of design and technical considerations tied to that. Before any change like this could be considered, we would need to ensure that Delve progression, difficulty scaling and rewards remain in a healthy state.

3. Will we have more geode mastery levels in the future the keep the game alive for mastery since nothing new has been added for geode for years
We understand that players who have completed the existing Geode progression would like to see additional mastery opportunities.
While there are no plans to expand Geode Mastery at this time, it is something we may consider in the future.
