Reopening the Marketplace has been one of our top priorities.
When the system was initially disabled, we explored several short-term fixes. However, these solutions were not sufficient. Exploitative behaviour continued to impact the marketplace, leading to severe price disruption and an unfair experience for players who were playing by the rules.
Because of this, we chose not to rush a temporary solution.
The introduction of our new anti-cheat system was an important first step toward restoring stability. Before bringing the Marketplace back online, it was essential for us to strengthen the game’s protections against abuse and ensure that the system could operate in a healthier environment.
With these protections now in place, we are moving forward with reopening the Marketplace.
That said, this is only part of a broader effort. We will continue reviewing Trove’s economic systems, including currency balance and marketplace behaviour, to ensure long-term stability. Changes in this area require careful monitoring, and adjustments will happen iteratively as we evaluate their impact.
We also want to thank the community for the continued feedback during this period. We closely follow your suggestions and discussions. While not every idea can be implemented immediately, your input helps guide many of the improvements we are working on.
Trove is built around its players and maintaining a fair and healthy economy is essential to the experience.
